A private bus met with an accident at the Salt Lake Sector 5 Weibel intersection on Saturday morning.
The bus was traveling from Nicco Park towards the college junction when its top got entangled in wires near the Webel junction. As the bus tried to reverse, the signal post collapsed and fell onto the bus, resulting in damage to the vehicle. Fortunately, all passengers on board were reported to be safe.
The road where the accident occurred has been temporarily closed, with police from the Electronic Complex police station present at the scene. Efforts are underway to remove the fallen signal post.
